How the current build handles inputs and optional tracking.
Policy template: operator details and legal review remain outstanding.
Publisher details required before launch
This is a policy template requiring the operator’s legal name, address, contact, controller details and jurisdiction-specific review before public launch. It is not a legally approved policy. Hosting and authentication providers and applicable international transfers must be identified in the final version.
Calculator inputs
On-page calculations run in your browser. We do not store calculator inputs. If you choose to copy a link containing your figures, those values are included in the URL; anyone who receives that link can see them. URLs may also appear in browser history and infrastructure access logs. Do not put sensitive personal identifiers into any calculator field.
Search and technical records
Search terms appear in the URL so the results page can be loaded directly. The application does not create a visitor search-history database. Hosting providers can retain normal technical request records. The final operator must document the hosting log retention period and access controls.
Cookies and local storage
The wdic-consent local-storage key records your optional preferences on this device. It does not enable a currently disconnected service. There are no live advertising or analytics scripts. Authentication, once configured, may use essential sign-in cookies controlled by the identity provider. Optional analytics and advertising require a reviewed integration; a simple preference dialog does not replace an advertising network’s certified CMP.
Retention, deletion and your rights
Administrative edits keep version history and the administrator’s platform ID for accountability. Media uploads include the supplied licence and alt text. No lead enquiries are collected in this build. The final operator must set justified retention periods, document backups and deletion processes, and provide an effective rights-request contact before launch. You may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data and complain to the ICO, depending on the circumstances.
