What to agree with the contractor
Agree whether frames, sills, internal glass, conservatory roofs and first-clean work are included. Count large panes consistently with your cleaner’s pricing method.
Understand the visit frequency
A four-weekly round is not the same as monthly: it produces about 13 visits in a year. Enter the number of visits in the period you want to budget for, and check how cancellations or missed visits are handled.
Access changes the job
Tell the contractor about locked gates, fragile roofs, parking restrictions and difficult reach before the quotation. The tool does not judge whether ladders, poles or other access equipment are safe.
Common questions
Is a first clean the same price?
Not necessarily. Ask for initial and regular-visit prices separately and run two scenarios.
Will this quote a local cleaner?
No. These are editable example rates, and no personal details are sent to a provider.
Sources & methodology
This page uses original budgeting guidance and transparent arithmetic. Example prices are chosen illustrations, not a survey of UK market prices. Replace them with written quotations.
